Onsite Scanning

Signing up for registration for #AACC99 gives us your consent to participate in onsite scanning.

AACC uses onsite scanning for the reasons outlined below:

  • To certify a registrant’s participation in the meeting, in the event that an institution requests it[1]
  • To confirm that registrants requesting entrance to sessions and plenaries have purchased the registration packages containing those events
  • To determine which session formats and topics are of most interest to participants

Session scanning and RFID technology have become standard in the conference industry.  AACC has employed technology that is being used at meetings across the country.

At registration, demographic information also is requested.  This information is not being used to track you, but simply to provide aggregate demographic data on our event attendees.

[1] AACC will only certify that a college employee attended #AACC99. AACC will not provide a breakdown of what sessions the registrant attended.
